Formal training as an illustrator and prior work as an art director and designer inform a multidisciplinary approach to my current art practice. I enjoy exploring how gritty texture in all of its form: tactile painted surfaces, textural paper and the spontaneity of imperfect lines and abrasions juxtapose to create new shapes and dimension.
